| 90:2 | ζσΓσδϊΚσ Νφαψ ρ ΘφεσΠσΗ ΗαΘσασΟφ And you are free (from sin, to punish the enemies of Islam on the Day of the conquest) in this city (Makkah), Wa 'Anta Ĥillun Bihadha Al-Baladi |
| 90:3 | ζσζσΗαφΟ ς ζσγσΗ ζσασΟσ And by the begetter (i.e. Adam) and that which he begot (i.e. his progeny); Wa Walidin Wa Ma Walada |
| 90:4 | ασήσΟΞσασήϊδσΗ ΗαΕφδΣσΗδσ έφν ίσΘσΟ ς Verily, We have created man in toil. Laqad Khalaqna Al-'Insana Fi Kabadin |
| 90:5 | ΓσνσΝΣσΘυ ΓσδασδνσήϊΟφΡσ Ϊσασνεφ ΓσΝσΟ ρ Thinks he that none can overcome him? 'Ayaĥsabu 'An Lan Yaqdira `Alayhi 'Aĥadun |
| 90:6 | νσήυζαυ ΓσεασίΚυ γσΗαΗ π αυΘσΟΗ π He says (boastfully): "I have wasted wealth in abundance!" Yaqūlu 'Ahlaktu Malaan Lubadaan |
| 90:7 | ΓσνσΝΣσΘυ Γσδασγ νσΡσευ~υ ΓσΝσΟ ρ Thinks he that none sees him? 'Ayaĥsabu 'An Lam Yarahu 'Aĥadun |
| 90:8 | Γσασγ δσΜϊΪσαασε υυ Ϊσνδσνδφ Have We not made for him a pair of eyes? 'Alam Naj`al Lahu `Aynayni |
| 90:9 | ζσαφΣσΗδΗ π ζσΤσέσΚσνδφ And a tongue and a pair of lips? Wa Lisanaan Wa Shafatayni |
| 90:10 | ζσεσΟσνδσΗευ ΗαδψσΜϊΟσνδφ And shown him the two ways (good and evil)? Wa Hadaynahu An-Najdayni |
| 90:11 | έσαΗσ ΗήϊΚσΝσγσ ΗαΪσήσΘσΙσ But he has made no effort to pass on the path that is steep. Fala Aqtaĥama Al-`Aqabaha |
| 90:12 | ζσγσΗ ΓσΟϊΡσΗίσ γσΗ ΗαΪσήσΘσΙυ And what will make you know the path that is steep? Wa Ma 'Adraka Ma Al-`Aqabahu |
| 90:13 | έσίψυ ΡσήσΘσΙ ς (It is) Freeing a neck (slave, etc.). Fakku Raqabahin |
| 90:14 | Γσζ ΕφΨϊΪσΗγ ρ έφν νσζγ ς Πφν γσΣΫσΘσΙ ς Or giving food in a day of hunger (famine), 'Aw 'Iţ`amun Fi Yawmin Dhi Masghabahin |
| 90:15 | νσΚφνγΗ π ΠσΗ γσήϊΡσΘσΙ ς To an orphan near of kin. Yatimaan Dha Maqrabahin |
| 90:16 | Γσζ γφΣίφνδΗ π ΠσΗ γσΚΡσΘσΙ ς Or to a Miskin (poor) afflicted with misery. 'Aw Miskinaan Dha Matrabahin |
| 90:17 | Λυγψσ ίσΗδσ γφδσ ΗαψσΠφνδσ ΒγσδυζΗ ζσΚσζσΗΥσζΗ ΘφΗαΥψσΘϊΡφ ζσΚσζσΗΥσζΗ ΘφΗαγσΡΝσγσΙφ Then he became one of those who believed, and recommended one another to perseverance and patience, and (also) recommended one another to pity and compassion. Thumma Kana Mina Al-Ladhina 'Āmanū Wa Tawaşaw Biş-Şabri Wa Tawaşaw Bil-Marĥamahi |
| 90:18 | ΓυζασΗΖφίσ ΓσΥΝσΗΘυ ΗαγσνγσδσΙφ They are those on the Right Hand (the dwellers of Paradise), 'Ūla'ika 'Aşĥabu Al-Maymanahi |
| 90:19 | ζσΗαψσΠφνδσ ίσέσΡυζΗ ΘφΒνσΗΚφδσΗ ευγ ΓσΥΝσΗΘυ ΗαγσΤΓσγσΙφ But those who disbelieved in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they are those on the Left Hand (the dwellers of Hell). Wa Al-Ladhina Kafarū Bi'ayatina Hum 'Aşĥabu Al-Mash'amahi |
| 90:20 | Ϊσασνεφγ δσΗΡ ρ γυΔΥσΟσΙ ρ The Fire will be shut over them (i.e. they will be enveloped by the Fire without any opening or window or outlet. `Alayhim Narun Mu'uşadahun |
